They create written texts to promote safety and explore the physical, social and emotional changes of growing up, identifying trusted adults and reliable sources for support. In PE, students learn skills and strategies in different types of games and how to be inclusive in physical activity to cater for the different ways people move.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStudents strengthen self-management skills through goal setting and reflection and apply interpersonal skills to support respectful and positive interactions.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe PDHPE K–6 units are designed as a 16-lesson sequence, comprising of 8 PDH lessons and 8 PE lessons, with 4 optional consolidation lessons. The lessons are written in sequence to show the flow of learning and the building of concepts across lessons.
