What is included and what am I downloading?
You will receive a singular digital download file of 12 Easter colouring page designs to choose from, all in black-and-white. Each page includes easy-to-colour bold outlines, condensed into a neat PPTX file for easy printing and page selection. Pages can be printed individually or collectively for an assortment, or even stapled into a booklet. Prefer PDF? Simply right-click and select 'save as PDF', and you are good to go!
Who is this best suited for?
Kindy, Prep, Year 1 and Year 2. I created this set with composite classes in mind at the time, ensuring there is enough variety to keep students engaged, including those who may have used similar Easter activities in previous years.
What will I be downloading?
Each A4 page includes an Easter colouring-in scene, with a mixture of larger and smaller details. There is no right or wrong way to use these printables, so please do not feel limited to colouring pencils or felt pens!
Examples of Other Uses
In my classroom, I have used these pages for many wonderful Easter art and craft activities. The crowd favourite to date was a simple water-paint station set up, with students painting vibrant colours over the top of the bold outlines and pasting their finished artworks onto black cardstock backing. This made for a beautiful display that then became an effortless take-home Easter gift for students’ families.
The opportunities are endless, but I always encourage students to embrace their imagination and think outside the box; for those who prefer to colour inside the lines and perfect their motor skills, though, this is perfect too!
When could I use these in the classroom?
* Morning work as children arrive and settle in
* On-hand early-finisher activities
* Individual Easter booklets
* Easter craft or colouring in centres
* Exploring art mediums you have on-hand
* Afternoon art and craft rotations
* Quiet time after lunch
(some calming meditation music and independent colouring in as children return from second break tends to go down a treat, at this time of term one!)
Why have teachers loved this resource to date?
*Print-ready
*Plenty of variety
*Great for multi-age classrooms
*Black-and-white for budget friendly printing *Supports fine motor development
*Easy to reuse, year after year
