Refund policy
Last updated: 6/1/2026
Shareify is a digital marketplace for downloadable resources created and sold by independent sellers.
Because all products on Shareify are digital downloads, refunds are handled differently from physical goods.
1. Digital Products & Change of Mind
All products sold on Shareify are digital downloads.
Once a digital product has been downloaded or accessed, refunds are not provided for change of mind, accidental purchases, or if the product does not meet personal expectations.
This aligns with standard practice for digital marketplaces.
2. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Under ACL, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or remedy if a digital product:
-
Has a major fault
-
Is not as described
-
Is unusable or significantly different from what was advertised
-
Cannot be accessed or downloaded due to a fault not caused by the buyer
3. When a Refund or Remedy May Be Provided
A refund, replacement, or store credit may be provided if:
-
The file is corrupted or cannot be opened
-
The wrong file was supplied
-
The product does not substantially match its description
-
A technical issue prevents access and cannot be resolved
Where possible, the seller may first offer:
-
A corrected file
-
A replacement download
-
Technical assistance
4. When Refunds Are Not Provided
Refunds are not provided for:
-
Change of mind
-
Accidental purchases
-
Failure to read the product description
-
Compatibility issues clearly stated in the listing
-
Differences in teaching style, preference, or expectations
5. Seller Responsibility
Sellers on Shareify are responsible for:
-
Accurately describing their products
-
Providing functional, downloadable files
-
Responding to reasonable buyer queries
Buyers are encouraged to contact the seller first to resolve any issues.
6. Platform Review & Disputes
If a buyer and seller cannot resolve an issue:
-
The buyer may contact Shareify support
-
Shareify may review the matter and determine an appropriate outcome in line with ACL
Shareify’s decision will be final.
7. Fraud & Abuse
Shareify reserves the right to refuse refunds or suspend accounts where there is evidence of misuse, fraud, or repeated refund abuse.
