This ready-to-use holiday recount writing and drawing worksheet set is designed for Prep / Foundation and Year 1 students learning to structure simple recounts. It provides a structured, no-prep activity for the first week back at school, helping students reflect on their holidays and confidently share their experiences through drawing and early writing.

Aligned to the Australian Curriculum, students practise retelling personal experiences using clear sequencing, drawing, and early writing skills. Each page is simple, engaging, and structured to support early writers with minimal teacher preparation.

Perfect for the start of term, this resource helps students reflect on their holidays while building confidence in writing, and equally supports a multitude of ability levels with options for drawing, too.
