Have you been scratching you head on how to introduce structured learning opportunities for students to develop labelling and information text writing skills in a way that’s developmentally appropriate and fosters independence?
Yep… me too.
That’s exactly why I created my Label and Write activity series.
With this pack, I always have ready-to-go resources for every student in my classroom—whether they’re just starting with pre-writing or ready to extend their writing. And now, you can too!
This 🐜Mini Beasts🕷️ Pack includes:
-
97 pages of highly engaging activities that embed fine-motor skills
-
7 differentiated stages to support learners from pre-writing to information-file writing **
-
7 of the same Mini Beasts in each stage, making differentiation a breeze
- Activities aligned to V9 Australian Curriculum
-
Single-lined and red-and-blue lined pages for different learning needs
-
Embedded writing feedback checklists aligned to ACV9, so you can give live, meaningful feedback
-
Clear, intentional learning goals for each stage, so you always know what you’re targeting
-
Visual word banks that release responsibility as students progress
**UPDATE: Individual stages also now available to purchase!
Each individual stage contains 7 Australian Animals with all the same features outlined above. This gives you the freedom to just grab the stage that suits your students if getting the whole system just isn't your vibe right now (it's okay - we COMPLETELY get it)!
Are you...
- Tired of juggling 2–3 different activities just to make sure every student can access the lesson independently?
- Exhausted from re-teaching the same labelling lesson over and over? (Let’s be real… there are just so many steps for students to remember!)
- Looking for resources you can easily link back to high-quality picture books and information texts?
- Just starting out in Foundation or Year 1 and not sure where to begin with information text writing?
If you nodded along to any of these, this resource is made for you!
