What do I need?
A free Calligraphr account and ONE of: a printer, a black pen and your phone camera, or an iPad and a stylus. Everything else in the guide runs on free tools.
How does the free photo option work?
Print the template, write your letters in the boxes with a black pen, photograph each page with your phone (or scan at 300 to 600 dpi), upload, and download your installable font.
How does the free digital option work?
Open the template on your iPad and write straight onto it with your stylus, then upload the filled pages. Procreate works, and so does built-in Markup for free: open the template PDF in Files or Notes, write with your Apple Pencil, export, upload. Windows users can also use Microsoft's free Font Maker app.
What does the free version of Calligraphr include?
