Agent X has been located in the Shadow Syndicate's secret lair... and the only way to extract her runs straight through a highly guarded enemy base.
In this immersive spy grammar maze for Years 4–6, students practise sentence structure, punctuation, spelling, verb tenses, capitalisation, apostrophes, dialogue punctuation, and proofreading skills while sneaking through five high-tech security zones filled with automated lasers, Syndicate guards, and surveillance cameras.
At each checkpoint, students identify correctly written sentences to unlock directional paths, collect codebreaker letters, and secure a vital extraction tool before their cover is blown.
This is a grammar maze with genuine stakes. One wrong turn triggers the alarms.
How It Works:
Students navigate a blueprint of the Syndicate lair, stopping at checkpoints in each zone.
At every stop, they identify the grammatically correct sentence from four options.
Each correct answer points them in a direction (UP, DOWN, LEFT, or RIGHT) and the bold letter in their choice contributes to a final codebreaker tool.
Answer correctly through all five protocols, collect all five letters, and unlock the cell to rescue Agent X.
Wrong answers lead to the wrong room.
Correct grammar leads the way to extraction.
Three completely independent versions run on the same map and the same story, each targeting a different grammar skill set:
1. Verb Tenses: Five protocols covering irregular past tense, perfect tense constructions, irregular past participles, and subject-verb agreement.
2. Punctuation: Five protocols covering sentence boundaries, proper noun capitalisation, apostrophes, commas, and dialogue punctuation.
3. Spelling: Five protocols covering "i before e" rules, double consonants, homophones, and common spelling demons.
All three versions share the same map. Run them with different groups simultaneously, use them across three lessons, or assign them for literacy rotations.
