Little Summer Explorers | 30-Page Printable Activity Book
A little summer adventure filled with opportunities to talk, listen, discover and create!
Created by a paediatric speech pathologist, this summer-themed activity book brings together playful learning activities and original illustrations, with a gentle touch of Charlotte’s Playroom charm.
Designed for children approximately 4–7 years, with adult support and activities to suit different skill levels.
Explore five areas of learning:
☀️ Language: Listening, following instructions, position words, comparing sizes and quantities, and exploring describing words such as hot, cold, fluffy, hard and soft.
🗣️ Speech: Picture-based word practice featuring the Early, Middle and Late Eight speech sound groups. Choose words suited to your child’s current goals.
📖 Early literacy: Unscramble simple words, explore consonant digraphs, identify beginning sounds, count sounds in words, and change sounds to make new words.
✏️ Fine motor: Follow pencil paths, trace pictures, practise cutting and assemble a summer creation.
🔎 Problem solving: Complete patterns, navigate a maze, find hidden objects and investigate silly summer scenes.
Enjoy a few pages at a time during the holidays, share an activity together, or incorporate selected pages into classroom and therapy activities.
Please note: This is a digital printable resource; no physical product will be posted. Some activities require adult guidance and supervision when using scissors. Speech activities support practice of selected targets and do not replace individual speech pathology advice.
