The containment field at AmGen Labs has failed.
Toxic green vapour is flooding the ventilation system. The specimens in Sector 7 are no longer human. There is no choice but to evacuate — and the only way out is through six zones of grammar challenges, a map of a zombie-infested laboratory, and a password that only correct answers can reveal.
This is a grammar maze with genuine stakes. One wrong turn leads straight to the zombies.
How It Works
- Students navigate a map of AmGen Labs, stopping at checkpoints in each zone.
- At every stop, they identify the grammatically correct sentence from four options.
- Each correct answer points them in a direction (UP, DOWN, LEFT, or RIGHT) and the bold letter in their choice contributes to a final password.
- Answer correctly through all six zones, collect all six letters, and unlock the exit.
- Wrong answers lead to the wrong room.
- Correct grammar leads the way out.
Three completely independent versions run on the same map and the same story, each targeting a different grammar skill set:

Verb Tenses Six zones covering irregular past tense, perfect tense constructions, irregular past participles, and subject-verb agreement. The correct password: RESCUE.

Punctuation Six zones covering sentence boundaries, proper noun capitalisation, apostrophes, commas, and dialogue punctuation. The correct password: REBOOT.

Spelling Six zones covering -ate endings, -ough endings, double consonants, and homophones. The correct password: ESCAPE.
All three versions share the same map. Run them with different groups simultaneously, use them across three lessons, or assign them for literacy rotations.
