R U OK? Day Craft | Social Emotional Learning & Wellbeing Activity
Help your students explore kindness, emotions, listening and checking in with others with this engaging R U OK? Day craft activity!
Students complete meaningful writing prompts inside the large R U OK? letters, decorate their craft, and read positive wellbeing messages featured inside four different emotion faces. They then colour, cut and assemble the pieces to create a bright and meaningful classroom display.
There are 2 versions included - one for lower primary, and one for upper primary students.
Students will reflect on:
- Recognise: How can you tell someone might not be OK?
- Understand: How can you be a good listener?
- Open Up: Who can you talk to?
- Kindness: How can you brighten someone’s day?
The emotion faces also feature encouraging messages about sharing a smile, talking about worries, taking your time and remembering that support is available.
Perfect for R U OK? Day, wellbeing lessons, SEL activities, classroom discussions, friendship lessons or a whole-class display.
