Learn and celebrate Advent and the key events of Christmas time with this HUGE 40-page resource pack!
This resource explores all of the key events and traditions of Advent and Jesus' birth, including child-friendly scripture and The Jesse Tree.
This resource consists of 40 pages, including:
- Teacher lesson materials (including scripture, class discussion prompts, reflection, prayer and all teachable information)
- Student response comprehension tasks to check for/assess students understanding,
- Student learning tasks encouraging writing and/or drawing responses,
- Supporting visuals including songs & videos,
- Craft tasks,
- Find-a-word activities,
- Colouring in pages,
- Student assessment task involving sequencing the events of the Christmas story,
- Advent kindness calendar (for in class use or can be sent home to families)
The student response tasks provide different entry points to cater for a wide range of primary aged students. Ideally this resource pack can be used from Foundation/Prep to Year 5.
This resource could be collated into an individual workbook for students (hello organisation!) or pick and choose lessons based on appropriateness. This resource provides 26 different lessons/suggested learning tasks.
