This Phonics Polaroid Match resource was created for Prep / Foundation classrooms where phonics instruction follows a clear progression, and early learners need repeated practise that stays engaging.
Designed to be prepped once and built up over time, these polaroids are ideal for fast finishers, small group phonics practise, or targeted intervention. You can introduce polaroids gradually as new sounds are taught, allowing students to work independently while you continue teaching or assessing others.
What sets this resource apart is its progression-aligned design paired with high engagement. Instead of sifting through mixed resources to find words your students actually know, these polaroids are organised into four commonly used phonics progressions. The task stays the same, but the learning deepens as students learn new sounds, supporting differentiation and consolidation across the year.
