This unit is designed to compliment the recent unit rolled out by NSW Education Department 2025/6. It is based on the unit of work Unit 5
The learning outcomes of this unit are:
· Physical and living systems depend on energy
· Design processes and digital systems are used to create solutions
16 hourly lessons plus 4 hours of additional/optional content. (1 term's work)
This unit teaches students to explore the dynamics of Earth's revolution around the Sun, the role of solar energy and the gravitational forces that govern the positions of planets in our solar system.
