What is included:
· 12 printable paired barrier game cards
How to play:
2 students play together using a paired set of game boards.
Each game board has a Latin root or its meaning.
Using the co-ordinates to identify the square, students match the root to the meaning to ‘win’ the square.
The first player to achieve 3 or 4 squares in a row, is the winner.
Highlights:
The game is similar to BattleShips.
Barrier Games rely on students asking questions as they are unable to see their opponent’s game card. In this game, students ask for either the root or the meaning depending on what they can see on their board.
